Adams Tree Preservation, LLC is a small, specialty tree preservation company owned and operated by Charley & Corrie Adams.
Charley Adams, Owner
ISA Certified Arborist, Certified Crane Operator
Charley is an ISA certified arborist with nearly 30 years of experience caring for trees. Charley, a native New Englander, grew up working on boats and complex rigging systems. As a tree care apprentice and arborist with some of the East Coast's premier tree companies, Charley honed his craft while preserving century-old European Beech trees.
Charley dedicated 12 years as an arborist caring for the trees of Mill Creek MetroParks and Fellows Riverside Gardens before launching Adams Tree Preservation, LLC with his wife, Corrie in 2013. Charley received his degree in Horticulture from Kent State University. In 2019, Charley was the subject of an arboriculture career exploration book, The Tree Doctor.

Otis Gordon
ISA Certified Arborist, Ohio Licensed Applicator
Otis, a lifelong area resident, has been a integral part of Adams Tree Preservation since the beginning. Otis started with us as the lead groundman overseeing ground operations and the many responsibilities that entails — rigging, logistics, and coordinating communication between the canopy and the ground.
In 2021 Adams Tree Preservation launched a Plant Health Care Program for which Otis conducts tree evaluations, develops treatment plans and treats insect, disease and environmental issues.
Otis earned his bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University. He began his career in tree care alongside Charley as a member of the forestry department at Mill Creek MetroParks where he spent several years before joining the Adams Tree Preservation, LLC team.
Andy Wiley
TCIA Certified Tree Apprentice, Certified Crane Operator
A key member of our team since 2014, Andy is a certified Tree Care Apprentice, the masterful operator of our skid loader, and a gifted rope handler on complex rigging jobs.
Corrie Adams
Director of Operations
Corrie transitioned to a full-time role with Adams Tree Preservation in early 2022. Currently she manages business and people operations as the company is growing and diversifying its services. Corrie has over 25 years of nonprofit experience with a focus on leadership development and program design and management.
